There is no application process for general vending, it is open to everyone. There is an application process for Food Vendors. Food Vendors can submit an application here. All licensing requirements must be met.
Vending spaces are 12ft wide in front, 20ft deep and marked with chalk. Your vending booth, vehicles, tent, and other items must fit within those boundaries. The fire lane must be kept clear at all times. If you have an oversized vehicle you will need to purchase enough space. Camping and vehicles must fit behind the booth, and you need to fill in the entire front 10 x 10 with vending space. (for example, if you buy two spaces to accommodate your group, both spaces must have a store front, one cannot be for camping). We cannot guarantee a location in the inner circle for any vehicles over 20ft. We may need to place you on the outer circle as space allows. Vending location may be purchased online, or at the gate beginning at noon on Thursday. Spaces are granted on a first come, first served basis. Vending ends at 5pm on Sunday and you will need to begin shutting down at that time.
A pre-purchased ticket allows vendors to preselect a vending section at Faire, along with early entry 8 am – 12 pm Thursday. Vending gate tickets open at noon on Thursday. Vendors with pre-purchased tickets need to arrive during the 8am-12pm window. Once general tickets open, we cannot guarantee your selection, but will still get you placed.
One vending purchase includes a camping pass for one person. Others traveling with a vendor will need to purchase a weekend camping pass. We ask that everyone in your group (helpers, vendors wanting placed next to each other) arrive at the same time for placement. All other helpers will need to wait until Friday to arrive, when camping opens at 8am.
The route is a steep dirt grade with few pull out spots. If you have overheating, poor battery, starter, or other vehicle problems, please get them fixed before departure. Expect vehicle lines, entering and exiting the highway and the Faire. Please, shut off your vehicle as often as possible.
In the spirit of Barter Faire, we encourage all Vendors to be open to trades or partial trades. There is no ATM or cell coverage at Faire. Make sure to have plenty of change. We also encourage items to be handcrafted, handmade, hand-gathered, grown or significantly altered in a handcrafted fashion by the vendor. Vintage, up-cycled, repurposed items are all welcome. Please leave mass produced items behind.
Strictly prohibited items include, but not limited to the following: alcoholic beverages/illegal substances, if we see it, you will be asked to leave. Glow sticks, plastic pellets, open displays of paraphernalia, and no home-canned or home-prepared food items (exceptions are items prepared in a licensed facility).
If you leave the Faire early, you pay full price to get back in. This should substantially reduce traffic. Buy all your necessary supplies and make that phone call home before you enter the Faire.
Okanogan Family Faire (O.F.F.) is working with Green Okanogan (GO) Recycling towards the ambitious goal of a waste-free faire! Our zero-waste strategy includes composting, recycling, and reducing single-use plastics, which can divert significant amounts of waste from landfills and minimize our impact on the land. Vendors must supply trash and recycling containers and are responsible for hauling and sorting recyclables to designated recycling areas. Vendors are responsible for packing out their own garbage.
Once again PureWater.org is the official water sponsor for the Okanogan Family Faire. This means that if you vend bottled water, YOU MUST PURCHASE IT FROM THEM. To order water for your booth or if you have any questions email: info@purewater.org
