Okanogan Family Barter Faire would not be possible without our
Volunteers! Volunteering with the Barter Faire is a wonderful
opportunity to meet like-minded individuals, learn new things and
contribute to the success of the Faire we all love. There is also the
potential to earn Faire membership hours, meals during Faire and an
exclusive Faire volunteer T-shirt.
Volunteering at Barter Faire
does not automatically equal an entry (camping) ticket. Volunteering for an entry
ticket typically applies to coordinators and returning volunteers who have met a
minimum hour requirement prior to Faire.
If you would like to be considered as a volunteer, please fill out this form.
We have various work
parties on the land throughout the year and work party volunteer
opportunities the three weekends leading up to Faire.
At Faire we have limited opportunities for new volunteers and each area coordinator does their own recruiting.
If
you’ve volunteered in the past, please reach out to your area
coordinator. If you are new to volunteering at Faire, please come as an
attendee this year and ask any of our coordinators about volunteering
for next year’s Faire. You can also email us at
VolunteerBarterFaire@gmail.com
During
the event, for those looking to lend a helping hand, you can always
stop by the Volunteer Bus, near the Gate, and find out about volunteer
opportunities available for the day.
Volunteering Pre-and Post-EventAccess
to the Faire Site during setup and cleanup is limited to the setup and
cleanup crews, staff and volunteers. Please do not show up early, you
will not be able to enter the Faire Site early.

playground monitors.

Sunday morning, we need volunteers to help prepare the children for the
annual Peace Parade. Costume donations are always appreciated.
